Should There be a Jorge Masvidal vs. Nate Diaz 2? Should it be for the BMF Belt?

The UFC announced that there will be an Edwards vs. Masvidal fight which will take place on December 11. If Masvidal wins, who should he fight next?

Well, it depends on who wins Usman vs. Covington 2. If Colby wins, there would be an Usman vs. Covington 3. If Colby wins that too, then Jorge would fight Colby for the belt. The UFC wants to make that fight happen. The beef that has already been created is drama that UFC matchmakers love.

People would love to see Masvidal vs. Diaz 2 though. That fight is just ridiculous. The first fight was one of the best fights I’ve ever seen. But then again, Nate Diaz isn’t ranked. I think Masvidal would have to lose a fight in order for the fight to be fair.

If Masvidal doesn’t get to fight for the belt, I think he should fight Stephen Wonderboy Thompson. They fought once in 2017 and it went to decision. Masvidal said in a Twitter Q & A that he wants to fight Wonderboy before he retires.

In conclusion, I think Jorge Masvidal should fight either Colby Covington or Stephen Thompson if he wins his upcoming fight.
