Who is the Best Boxer in the UFC?

One of the most recent controversial subject in the UFC is who is the best boxer. Tons of people have been arguing over social media and memes have even been made. Here are my opinions on who the best is and why.

Petr Yan

I think Petr Yan is the best boxer in the UFC because of his accuracy. In the first round, he generally doesn’t throw that much. It is almost like he is calculating something in his head to help him figure out where to throw. After the first round, he is fire.

Max Holloway

          This one is somewhat more controversial than my first one. Max Holloway recently beat Yair Rodriguez via unanimous decision. I will tell you that neither of them looked in good shape after the fight, but the blessed one still outboxed Yair.

Dustin Porier

          Okay, okay. I know this is weird that Dustin is above Max, but Max Holloway is a little bit more technical. But I honestly don’t see any other differences that can make it so either of them are above the other.

Justin Gaethje

          Justin Gaethje is easily top 5 boxers in the UFC. His last fight with Michael Chandler was super impressive. I personally think if he can get a knockout with an impressive punch, it’ll put him up even furter on my list.

Jorge Masvidal

          Jorge Masvidal has great boxing. Just because he got knocked out by UFC Welterweight champion Kamaru Usman, does not mean that Usman is a better boxer than him. I think his striking in general is just really good.

Honorable Mention: Colby Covington

          Colby Covington is pretty much tied with Masvidal. The only issue with putting Colby Covington before him is because his striking isn’t just with his hands, nor is Jorge, but Jorge uses more of his hands than Colby.

          There are some amazing boxers in the UFC, but these are my top 5.
