Who Should UFC Fighter Donald Cowboy Cerrone Fight Next?

Donald Cerrone recently lost to Alex Morono. This fight was extremely hard to watch as one of the UFC’s biggest stars could be departing from the sport. This is not the case, luckily. As Cowboy plans to fight again. The question is, who should he fight?

Donald Cerrone has two options, fighting a popular fighter or fighting a fighter that isn’t as well known. Personally, I would like to see him fight Nick Diaz. It would really be a good retirement fight for both, considering neither of them have announced retirement yet. The only issue with this fight is that I don’t know whether Nick is done fighting. Although both Diaz brothers say that they will never retire, he didn’t seem to have the fire and passion that he used to have. He just didn’t seem to want to fight or win like he normally does.

Let’s say that Nick Diaz is out of the picture. Who else would he fight? I mean he is one of the veterans of the sport, so he has fought everybody. I would say the loser of the upcoming Khamzat Chimaev vs. Li Jingliang.

In conclusion, I would love to see him fight Nick Diaz but I really don’t think that fight is going to happen. If that fight can’t happen, I think the right fight would be the loser of Khamzat Chimaev vs. Li Jingliang.
